It's been a while since I have posted.. It's not that nothing has been going on in our adoption journey.. Just not things I can share at the time that they are happening...
We have been presented to several birth moms.. And have not been selected! Each situation has been very different , but also very much the same.. Babies would be born within about 3 weeks of the selection date by the birth moms. So you prepare but also protect your heart. Kinda hard to explain. We would be traveling to meet birth mom within the week of selection ,than have about 2 weeks to prepare if meeting went well.. I am an all in kinda girl-- so it's hard for me to not get all pulled in. Needless to say the No's are very hard! I know that The Lord has a plan and have been reminded that its not a No it's a Not yet!! Waiting on The Lord to reveal His plan is not always easy, but ohhhh how much I am learning along the journey!! When I look in my Kinley Geace eyes.. It's a Dailey reminder of what God has done and will do for our family!! Tonight while reading kinley the Easter story she saw Jesus on the page. She said Momma " that's Jesus and He is gonna bring me a baby". I told her yes He is! What a blessing our children are!! Kinley prays for our new baby everyday and talks about it all the time. Wants to but it clothes and toys.. Just precious! Today I am so thankful for the family the The Lord has already blessed me with!! What a testimony we already have!! That he had brought us together with our sweet Kinley!!! One blessed momma!!
