Daddy and Kinleys special date!!'

Daddy called Kinley to ask her on a special date!! She was so excited to get dressed up and her pretty princess dress!!! She could not wait for daddy to get home from work. He took her to a fancy restaurant downtown and they had a wonderful dinner! For dessert they had pecan pie with ice cream on top! Pecan pie is her favorite! We have to pecan trees  in our backyard and we pick the pecans and make my grandmothers homemade pecan pie!! She loves anything and everything with the pecans!!

As you can see the dessert was a very special and had a special message on the plate. They had a very special night and a memory that that will last forever!!

Finally PAPER READY!!!!

I just received an email a few hours ago that they have all the paper work and documents!! We are ready to start being Presented to birth moms. Hallelujah!!
When ever they have a situation that meets our needs they will call us!!
My agent asked if I was getting things ready.. Room, baby bag ect. I told her no!
She suggested that I start.
So last night I pulled down the infant seat and baby sleep wedges and washed them. That's a huge step for me. I've been trying to protect myself and not wanting to confuse Kinley as well. But my heart feels ready to start! I'm stepping out in FAITH that there is a baby coming to this house and to our Family!!
Today Kinley and I did a little shopping as well. We got bottles, diapers, wipes, swaddle blankets, pacifiers, ect. It was fun to do with Kinley!! She asked a lot of questions .. She asked if it was for our baby. I told her yes. That we needed to get some things for when Jesus brings us our baby.
I'm excited, nervous & READY !!!

I have been working all week to get all the necessary paper work ready, faxed, emailed and shipped!!! I think I have it all done ... I hope!!! Our home study agent is getting all her stuff sent ;) as well!
We will have a conference call with our new consultant on Monday and the hopefully we will be ready to start being presented to birth moms 😍😍😍! Excited and also nervous!! Trying to protect my heart , but have a total PEACE that this is were The Lord has lead us. We are so ready to bring a new baby home to complete out family! Kinley talks and prays for Our new baby all the time! She is so sweet! She has been super obsessed with her baby dolls the last week or so!! Who knows .. Maybe The Lord is preparing her 😄.

A break and A Change...

Well I have takin about a month off from pursuing our adoption! I was emotionally drained..
I have felt that I had run smack into a brick wall.. Didn't know which way to go or wear to turn. We had been led in a new direction and I felt so drawn to this . We prayed about it and then I made a very excited call and was told they had a wait list for the couples that they would work with and we were # 8.
That's before we could even be considered as a couple they would take on. Needless to say I was disappointed to here about the wait. That was a month ago. Last week I checked in and we were #6. We had only moved 2 in a month:(.
Well, on Friday I got an email saying we were first on the list.. Woooo hooo! We filled out our application and today we were told that they will work with is...

Overnighted to the company tomorrow .
We have been told they match quickly! We are so hopeful that this will lead us to our BABY!!! We trust that The Lord is guiding us!!!
We are super excited to see were this will lead and have a new HOPE!!!

The Lord has a Plan

It's been a while since I have posted.. It's not that nothing has been going on in our adoption journey.. Just not things I can share at the time that they are happening...
We have been presented to several birth moms.. And have not been selected! Each situation has been very different , but also very much the same.. Babies would be born within about 3 weeks of the selection date by the birth moms. So you prepare but also protect your heart. Kinda hard to explain. We would be traveling to meet birth mom within the week of selection ,than have about 2 weeks to prepare if meeting went well.. I am an all in kinda girl-- so it's hard for me to not get all pulled in. Needless to say the No's are very hard! I know that The Lord has a plan and have been reminded that its not a No it's a Not yet!! Waiting on The Lord to reveal His plan is not always easy, but ohhhh how much I am learning along the journey!! When I look in my Kinley Geace eyes.. It's a Dailey reminder of what God has done and will do for our family!! Tonight while reading kinley the Easter story she saw Jesus on the page. She said Momma " that's Jesus and He is gonna bring me a baby". I told her yes He is! What a blessing our children are!! Kinley prays for our new baby everyday and talks about it all the time. Wants to but it clothes and toys.. Just precious! Today I am so thankful for the family the The Lord has already blessed me with!! What a testimony we already have!! That he had brought us together with our sweet Kinley!!! One blessed momma!!

Adoption in its truest form is a response to the love and gospel of Jesus Christ. We were adopted into His kingdom, so we in turn adopt children into our homes. Not just so they will have an earthly room, bed or siblings, but so they may have a chance to know about a Heavenly Father who is recklessly and passionately pursuing their adoption to Himself."


Through our search for Our Second Adoption and Our first.... The Situations (birth mom) Stories are some times so heartbreaking to say the least! We have the chance to change the Heritage of a childs life and such a Huge responsibilty to Raise them To Know the Lord!!!! To know that we can make such a differnce in a childs life is such an honor.
Adoptions Journeys to find your little one is not for the faint at heart!! It is a beautiful thing ,but also an emotional roller coaster! We know it will be worth it when we hold our little one !!! To know that The Lord has brought us together!!! I cant wait!!!

Us This December!!

Trusting in The Lord and Resting in His Peace!!!

This week was a difficult one for us... But also a time of Trusting in The Lord!
Last week a situation came up that seemed like a perfect fit.. We felt confident to move forward and be presented to the birth parents. We carefully prepared all of the paper work and prayerfully sent it..
Then just waited and prayed for Gods perfect plan. We prayed for the birth parents as they made their selection and a Peace for us whatever the outcome! Also protection over our hearts and $$. We knew Friday was the day the selection would be made. All day I waited for a phone call to say we were selected or an email to say we were not! Needless to say every time my home phone rang (which was 4 times ) my heart literally stopped and then started to race. ( our home phone never rings,but it did that day).
At 2:30 my phone beeped.. I saw the lawyers name and my heart sank!!!
We were not selected.. There were 7 couples that applied .
Called Jody to let him know, he knew when he answered the phone .. Cause he could here me crying! It seemed so right! It seemed like a perfect fit!!
Friday evening was very difficult and I gave myself that time to let it out!
I had a few praying all week and I could feel those prayers holding us up!!! I woke up Saturday ready to continue our search to our second sweet little blessing! I am Resting in His peace through our journey!! I know He has a plan and His timing is perfect!!! We are so blessed to have friends and family that love us and support us through prayer and love!! I'm excited to see what tomorrow brings !!!
